Terms of service

1. General provisions

This document is a public offer by [Company name] (TIN: [TIN], hereinafter “the Provider”) setting out the terms of use of the Xato.uz service. Paying for the service constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

2. The service

The Provider offers spell checking of Uzbek texts, conversion between Latin and Cyrillic scripts, and translation between Uzbek, Russian and English via the website, a Microsoft Office add-in and other applications. Translation is performed by machine translation or artificial intelligence and its accuracy is not guaranteed; reviewing translations of important documents is recommended. Translation is subject to a daily word limit: 1,000 words a day on the free plan, 20,000 words a day during the trial and with Premium. “Deep check” (finding grammatical and stylistic errors with the help of artificial intelligence) is available with an account and a daily word limit; its suggestions are advisory, and their completeness and accuracy are not guaranteed.

New users receive a free 7-day trial during which Premium features work without limits. The trial is granted once per computer. After it ends, the account moves to the free plan: spell checking works up to 5,000 words a day, and Latin–Cyrillic conversion stays free. Unlimited use requires a Premium subscription. During the trial and with Premium a limit of 300,000 words per day applies to prevent abuse.

3. Prices and payment

Premium, 1 month — 39,000 UZS. Premium, 3 months — 99,000 UZS. Premium, 6 months — 159,000 UZS. Premium, 1 year — 199,000 UZS. Prices [include / do not include] VAT.

Payment is made via Payme or Click. Premium is activated as soon as payment is confirmed; if bought during the trial, it starts when the trial ends. Subscriptions never renew automatically and cards are never charged automatically.

4. Refunds

5. Liability

The service helps find spelling mistakes but does not guarantee that every mistake will be found. The user is responsible for the final text.
